what it takes to be a pilot
whats up guys. my question to you is am I heading in the right direction to become an air force pilot? I'm 20 years old and currently in the air force reserve in montgomery, AL at Maxwell afb. I am a fuel cell journeyman (almost) on C-130s. I'm taking classes at UAH in Hunstville, AL where the marshall space flight center was founded. I'm majoring in a dual degree of mechanical and aerospace engineering. I am also a black belt in taekwondo and training to be an instructor. Other than that I do not participate in any other extracurricular activties, mainly because I went to a very small private high school that didn't offer any sport programs that interest me(like football). beside all of that I will get a private pilot's license probobaly next summer. oh and I don't know if this helps my chances, but I also volunteered to be activated for a year and serve three months in Kuwait. thanks for any help!!!
