IS THE SMALLER AMERICAN DESIGN BETTER THAN THE RUSSIAN BEAST. THE MIG 29 OUT PREFORMS THE F-16 IN EVERY WAY EXCEPT KILLS AGAINST EACHOTHER

It is not true that the MIG 29 outperforms the F-16 in every way. Each aircraft have their advantages in different aspects of flight.

The F-16 can do many things that will leave the mig-29 dead in the air. I get this from the code one link where our f-16s went up against 29s and viper pilots were flying the mig and found that they could not do things they normaly do in the viper. At one point an American pilot was executing a manuever and the mig pilot quickly took control back before the plane snaped. This proves the power advantage the f-16s enjoys. The mig is more deadly at very slow speeds due to its high AOA rate. This means it can bring its nose around to bare upon an aircraft even if its actualy turn rate is not in the best state. But above 250 knots the viper (Im talking about block50/52 here) dominates most of the flight envalope. It enjoys better sustained turn radius and thrust to wieght ratio. Visability is also a major factor is you are talking about ACM engaments and this is one of many areas the mig-29 pilots were very impressed with. Another area was the overall cockpit and man-machine interface that viper pilots enjoy. Duriing air-to-air combat a mig pilot would have to move his arm round the cockpit and do as many as half dozon switches before it gets a missile away, while the viper pilot never takes his hand off the stick and throttle. Instead the viper pilot uses a press of his thumb and a winder is away. This means he can concentrate on the wearabouts of his target, the HUD and other threats in the sky rather then foolin around with buttons.
