Are teeth fillings disqualifying?
Hello everyone. As you probably imagine I'm a teenager dreaming of becoming a fighter pilot. My question is connected with my teeth. I have several fillings in them, whereas my father, who served in aviation during his obligatory military service [Poland...] once told me that teeth fillings are disqualifying because they can cause pain due to possible quick changes of pressure. Is it still true? Is this really checked during recruitment? Or is it only an issue with old, amalgam fillings?
I ask here because I haven't found any information yet.
Thanks in advance,
MiG.
