Hi John, let me ask you something.
Do you have any questions for me?
I'll be very happy if you do.

Do you have any suggestions on a way to split up this forum further, like Tactics, weapons etc. ?

Hi John
Answer 1:
In about 3 years I'll become an aeronautical engineer specialised in designing aircraft(civilian and military)
Answer 2:
First: I'm interested in aircraft(technology of fabication, aerodinamics, avionics, engines, etc)
The F16 is the only fighter that is closest to my desire, first in terms of it's superb design, second the way it looks.(it's like a shark).
Second: I like to fly but only in an aircraft if you know what I mean.
Thanks John

Hi
Yes John I have many suggestions.
I would like to see a title like "Introduction in combat training" then subtitles like :
"Basic Flight Aerodinamics"
"Introduction in air to air weapons"
"Air Combat Tactics"
"Introduction in air to ground weapons"
"Ground Combat Tactics"
"The air enemies - tactics used by the enemy, the performance of their fighters, etc"
"The ground enemies - SAM(types, prority, etc)
"Missile avoidance and general evasive maneuvers"
If you like or you don't like what I just said please let me know John.
I'm very happy to colaborate with you!

Tiger,

Did you say that you study fluid dynamics and aerodynamics? If so are you doing a project about the F-16?

Hi Rapier
In about 3 years I'll have to choose 2 aircraft(military and civilian) for my project. I picked up already F16 and Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet.

Cool! You have chosen a very interesting pair of aircraft. The F-16, light and nimble, the boeing 747, big, cumbersome and slow. But why not choose 2 fighters? Are you comparing them in some ways, like the fly-by-wire system?

Hi Rapier
As you may know to design a civilian aircraft is very hard in comparision with a fighter. The safety systems, stability, comfort and other things are very hard to master.
Boeing 747 is a subsonic plane so that you don't study very advanced aerodinamics and the F16 is a supersonic fighter where the most importants concepts of design is advanced aerod. and other things like maneuvrability, etc...
